A very  warm welcome to the Princess Royal home page.

Situated on Slinn St. in a quiet area of Crookes, the Princess Royal is  one of
Sheffield’s hidden gems. It is a traditional stone built Sheffield pub, where beer
has been served since Victorian times.  Now a must on the local real ale trail,  the
pub has not suffered the horrors of refurbishment so common elsewhere, and as
a result of this retains its friendly atmosphere. A warm welcome is assured by
Jayne, the landlady, her staff and the pub regulars to visitors  both old and new.
There are always fine traditional ales, both local and from further afield, on sale.
We are also host to music events throughout the year, held in our large upstairs

The Princess Royal, known affectionately to it’s regulars as “The Prinny”, is at
the heart of the local community, hosting quizzes twice weekly (more about these
on the About Us page), and organizing fund raising events for local charities.
The warm, friendly atmosphere ensures that visitors of all ages can enjoy a drink
